• Elon Musk tries to do things that will maximize the probability that the future will be good for humanity.
• Elon changing Twitter means a great matter to him because Twitter was like the “Modern Square” where it has a great influence on people’s views and ultimately the direction of society and the government. That is the reason why Twitter shouldn’t be biased and why it shouldn’t censor people’s views and beliefs.
• Throughout history, censorship has led to a dictatorial government that controls the population (loses freedom and democracy).
• Elon’s acquisition of Twitter isn’t a hobby but has a huge implication for the future.
• This also have a huge impact on Tesla because with Tesla’s huge goals of achieving AGI and robots it requires a free and democratic society rather than an authoritarian and oppressive society.
• No point in realeasing AGI/robots if the government will use it aginst the people.
